Appearance

A middle-aged man, Tomoaki has tanned skin and short grey hair. He wears a plain white, buttoned-up shirt, dark grey pants, and grey shoes. A Btooom! player, he carries a bandolier on his waist and has an IC chip implanted in his left hand.

Personality

He is shown to be short-tempered and is arguably unintelligent for his impulsiveness. Although he is stubborn, he recognizes and isn't hesitant to use others' good judgment.

Relationships

Story

On the fourth day, Tomoaki and Kōsuke ambush Ryōta Sakamoto after Ryōta obtained the supply package the two were after. However, Tomoaki fails to kill Ryōta (after missing three times) and becomes indirectly responsible for losing the supply package, as Nobutaka Oda stole it from Ryōta. After arguing, Kōsuke advises Tomoaki to ambush the two at a nearby beach, as it is the most likely place for them to surface from. Tomoaki agrees and sets off.[1] Once at the beach, Tomoaki sends out a sonar wave, detecting no-one. He then notices the supply package on the ground nearby. Believing that someone hid it away, he approaches it. Unbeknownst to him, Nobutaka had set up a remote control BIM nearby, which the latter detonates, killing Tomoaki.[2]
